- Don't pay money to collect. Collect what you already have.
- Don't buy/shop impulsively. "Impulse buying is the misfortune of the saver"
- Don't waste food. Use all your ingredients before they spoil.
- Don't buy disposable items. Such as:
4.1 Paper towel. Get a piece of cloth. When used, put it in boiled water.
4.2 Coffee pod. Use a reusable filter, or a coffee press. - Buy %80 of your clothing used, %20 of your clothing new. Your savings will vary from %5 to %100
- It's not savings unless you save it. - You see a sale of %60 off. 100$ jeans cost 40$ now. How much do you save? Nothing. You spent 40$. Saving is not about spending less. Saving is about putting money aside.
- Calculate the real cost of items. Put the price in working hours. How much do you have to work in order to buy that item? Is it worth it?
